3rd Degree Black Belt – Kickboxing
Year Started Training:
2011 (Age 7)
Mr Lawlor began his martial arts journey at just 7 years old, to improve his self-confidence. The more he trained the more he fell in love with the art of Kickboxing dedicating countless hours to mastering his craft and earning a third-degree black belt in kickboxing. The journey wasn't easy. There were countless setbacks, but he didn't stop. He is currently expanding his skills by training in Jiu Jitsu at Premier.
After 10 years of training Jake decided to challenge himself by starting to compete. By competing he found that his mentality changed. It was no longer about winning or losing it was about removing his ego and focus on constant improvement
Mr Lawlor found a passion in coaching through helping his little brother to earn his Blackbelt. Now he dedicates his time to improving others, whether its young people helping with their confidence and teaching the life skills they can put into all aspects of their lives as they grow, or by helping adults discover the passion for improvement. No matter if you train for confidence, exercise or for self-defence Mr Lawlor motivate you past the limitations you set on yourself.
